I always liked Callahan’s game. He would have been a great old school Devil. The contract and trade were not very good for TB, but in the end they seem to be fine.
Despite being a rival Ranger I have to respect this guy and it’s disappointing to see anyone’s career cut short.

except he's not going to retire, and it's cap circumvention. |

I mean...they're fine because they were able to legally circumvent the cap. When players "retire" and don't retire, I think that's as obvious cap circumvention as when a player gets signed to a 17 year contract. Just sayin. |

Nolan was a good player on a poor Kelowna team. His play picked up when his dad took over as coach. Didn’t expect him to go in the first round. |

Callahan just bought a condo on Robidas Island next to Horton's house and down the street from the Ohlund mansion. |

Galactic... can't quote you.
Marek will be the Crunch Goalie.
This is a good deal getting a first. I wanted others traded before JT Miller but this return is good to move money.
Another aspect of this trade is most likely Vancouver will not make the playoffs so this pick will move to 2021 which can be used in the expansion draft for protection of players
Besides signing their own players the only thing left is getting a RD. Will it happen? |

I guess this is what made Ingram expendable. Is this Marek guy better than Ingram?

No. He is a career AHL goalie, he played for Utica last year. But since the Crunch didnt have a goalie they at least now have the rights to a goalie for the team. |

Pretty smart move by Brisebois. Buying cap room is expensive but a pretty good return. |

Blackstrom, read some interviews. His career is over.
Great trade by JBB. Someone had to go for cap relief, and Miller gave is the best return considering his NTC had not kicked in. Nucks seem to have some pieces in place, but not impossible that we get a lottery pick in two years even though the pacific divison is so weak. |
